A well-structured workshop on “AI in the Science Classroom” aims to empower educators with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to incorporate AI into their curriculum, helping students engage more deeply with scientific concepts and prepare for a technology-driven future. The workshop begins with an introductory session that provides a clear understanding of what AI is, including its history, core principles, and practical applications. Educators are introduced to basic AI concepts such as machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and data analysis. This foundational knowledge sets the stage for exploring how AI intersects with science education across disciplines such as biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science.
