Connect, collaborate, create: Education and the British Science Association
This is a relaxed and informal drop-in session where attendees can meet members of the British Science Association's education team. Come along to: Find out more about CREST Awards, British Science Week, and the Engage network. Ask questions about how the BSA can support your science teaching. Share your experiences and ideas with colleagues. Network with other science education professionals. Dedicated areas will provide information and resources on: CREST Awards: Project-based STEM awards for young people. British Science Week: A ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering, and maths. The Engage network: Supporting teachers in challenging circumstances to engage their students with science. Q&A: Attendees can ask the BSA education team questions about their programs, resources, and funding opportunities. Activity Taster: There will be a practical science activity that attendees can participate in. By attending this session, participants will: Have a better understanding of the BSA's education programs and initiatives. Have the opportunity to ask questions and receive personalized advice. Be able to network with the BSA education team and other science education professionals. Gain access to resources and materials to support their science teaching. This drop-in session provides an informal opportunity for attendees to meet the British Science Association's (BSA) education team and learn more about their programs and initiatives. Participants can ask questions, share ideas, and network with colleagues. The target audience for this session is primary and secondary teachers, science coordinators, headteachers, technicians, and anyone with an interest in science education.
