A Modular Approach to Support Teachers Implementing Evidence-Based Practices for Students on the Autism Spectrum

Barriers exist for teachers delivering evidence-based practices (EBPs) to meet the unique needs of autistic students. MAAPS provides a framework to help teachers select, implement, and evaluate EBPs that best meet the individual goals of each student. A description of MAAPS, research findings, and case study examples will be shared.Participants will be able to: 1. Identify a minimum of one advantage for teachers using a modular framework for selecting and implementing interventions. 2. Describe the MAAPS implementation process. 3. Identify key features that contribute to the effectiveness of MAAPS.
