Adapting and Using CW-FIT in Special Education Classrooms

This presentation will discuss the outcomes of three studies in which we investigated the use of CW-FIT with students receiving special education services. This includes an elementary special education classroom for students with high support needs, a middle school special education classroom, and an inclusive middle school general education classroom. Participants will be able to: 1. Describe the core components of CW-FIT intervention. 2. Describe ways in which adaptations to CW-FIT can be implemented for students receiving special education.
