All Are Welcome: Expanding Inclusion in Early Childhood

This session will outline the efforts of a public preschool program to expand inclusion at the school and community level. Presenters will share their journey of moving to full inclusion in the early childhood program, while simultaneously creating an Early Childhood collaboration focused on supporting inclusion in community based organizations.Participants will be able to: 1. List the steps and strategies involved in establishing a fully inclusive early childhood program, including overcoming challenges and addressing systemic barriers. 2. Identify best practices for fostering a culture of inclusion in educational and community settings. 3. Name resources that support high-quality early childhood inclusion.
