This presentation examines effective interprofessional collaboration between speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and teachers, which improves educator and student outcomes. Presenters will define collaboration, present evidence of its benefits for students and educators, and provide strategies on how teachers and SLPs can implement effective, structured collaboration practices.Participants will be able to: 1. Describe the significance of interprofessional practice. 2. Analyze evidence linking collaboration to improved teacher and student outcomes 3. Implement three practical strategies to facilitate collaboration within school contexts.
