DISES Showcase: Reimagining Inclusion: Global Perspectives on Expanding Access and Participation in Education

This session explores global perspectives on access to and participation in inclusive education through DISES initiatives and real-world stories from educators and their work with students, families, and communities. Presenters will highlight strategies, successes, and challenges that show how inclusive education is being reimagined and expanded across diverse educational settings.Participants will be able to: 1. Identify and describe global initiatives and practices that effectively promote inclusive education and expand access for all learners. 2. Reflect on and apply culturally sustaining and collaborative strategies shared by global educators and stakeholders to support inclusive learning environments. 3. Develop at least one actionable plan or practice to remove barriers to participation and foster equity in their own educational context
