This session introduces administrators to the DEC and the valuable tools, professional development opportunities, and resources it offers. Learn how DEC can support educators working with children ages 3–5 and K–3, and explore strategies to align instructional practices across early childhood settings and early grades.Participants will be able to: 1. Identify key DEC resources that support early childhood educators in settings for children aged 3–5 and K–3. 2. Understand how to align professional development objectives using DEC’s Recommended Practices. 3. Explore strategies to bridge practices across early childhood and early elementary staff. 4.
