Enhancing Learner Success with the Neuroinclusion Framework

While Universal Design for Learning (UDL) serves as a helpful framework for supporting the instructional needs of neurodiverse learners, it does not account for a holistic understanding of neurodiverse neurotypes. This session introduces the Neuroinclusion Framework, which provides a framework for understanding the strengths, challenges, and needs of neurodiverse learners. Participants will be able to: 1. Name and describe the 5 pillars of the Neuroinclusion Framework. 2. Identify remedies and strategies to implement in the classroom. 3. Develop a plan for assessing and enhancing the learning environment to be more neuroinclusive.
