Expanding Tele-TAPP: Using Technology to Deliver Evidence-Based Behavioral Interventions in Rural Schools
Teachers and Parents as Partners (TAPP) is an evidence-based behavioral intervention. Tele-TAPP leverages technology to overcome rural access barriers. Presenters will describe Tele-TAPP, share new efficacy data from Appalachian schools, and offer practical strategies for using teleconsultation to improve student outcomes and strengthen family-school partnerships.Participants will be able to: 1. Describe how Tele-TAPP adapts an established evidence-based intervention to rural schools using technology. 2. Identify key implementation considerations, including relationship-building, technology supports, and culturally responsive practices. 3. Apply strategies for using teleconsultation to improve access to behavioral interventions in underserved settings.
