Thursday 12 March 2026·8:00 am

We will present preliminary findings from a randomized-controlled trial evaluating, "Recognize. Relax. Record," a teacher-delivered Tier 2 intervention to support students with internalizing challenges, such as excessive anxious thoughts and feelings. This session will cover student outcomes, insights from implementation data and participant feedback, and implications for teacher-led Tier 2 interventions.Participants will be able to: 1. Identify internalizing behaviors and explain their impact on elementary-aged students’ engagement and school success. 2. Describe the Recognize. Relax. Record. (RRR) intervention, including its key components and preliminary findings from a randomized-controlled trial conducted in an integrated tiered system (Comprehensive, Integrated, Three-tiered [Ci3T] model of prevention). 3. Locate and access professional learning and implementation materials to support adoption of RRR in school settings, if desired.
