From Chaos to Clarity: AI for Self-Contained Special Education Teachers
This presentation explores how special educators in self-contained classrooms can use artificial intelligence to support professional responsibilities. Attendees will learn practical, ethical ways to integrate artificial intelligence tools to manage documentation, planning, and communication while serving students with autism and developmental disabilities across a variety of grade levels.Participants will be able to: 1. Reflect on their own opinions and views towards artificial intelligence and integration in their everyday practice. 2. Identify actionable ways to implement Artificial Intelligence in their classroom to support students with autism and developmental disabilities. 3. Collaborate and converse with other early career and pre-service professionals to increase the implementation of evidence-based practices through different tools and strategies.
