Learn how a rural district improved LRE outcomes and school culture through equity-driven strategies like co-teaching, peer mentoring, integrated supports, and inclusive IEPs. Gain actionable ideas to increase access, engagement, and inclusion for students with disabilities through scalable, collaborative practices.Participants will be able to: 1. Identify and apply at least three inclusive strategies—such as peer mentoring, co-teaching models, and integrated mental health supports—that can be implemented within their school or district to improve Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) outcomes and student engagement for learners with disabilities. 2. Write or support the development of IEP goals that are directly aligned with general education standards and classroom contexts, ensuring goals promote meaningful access and participation in inclusive settings. 3. Design or enhance cross-department collaboration systems that bring together general education, special education, and student services teams to remove barriers and foster a culture of belonging for students with disabilities.
