Goal Chasers in Action: Applying the SDLMI-R to Intensify Reading Intervention

The Self-Determined Learning Model of Instruction for Reading (SDLMI-R) leverages student goal setting to enhance motivation and intensify reading intervention for upper elementary students with reading disabilities. The SDLMI-R supports engagement through a structured, three-phase model.
