This session highlights practical, user-centered solutions using affordable materials and inclusive design principles, empowering participants to create customized supports that promote independence, participation, and equity in diverse environments.Participants will be able to: 1. Design and fabricate simple, low-cost assistive technology solutions using everyday materials to support diverse learning and access needs. 2. Apply principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to create more inclusive and accessible environments. 3. Identify and implement immediate, practical strategies to remove participation barriers for disabled individuals in classroom, home, and community settings.
