This interactive session crafts powerful IEPs for mathematics. We'll share strategies to engage the entire IEP team in creating robust present levels to pinpoint strengths and areas needing development. By blending compliance with best practices, we provide clear examples to formulate impactful goals and gather progress monitoring data seamlessly.Participants will be able to: 1. Increase participation among members of the IEP team (from identifying student strengths to sharing specific strategies to achieve goals). 2. Create comprehensive Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance using a variety of data methods. 3. Write compliant, ambitious, and effective IEP goals that align with best practices, provide access to the general education curriculum, and promote students with individualized choice. 4. Utilize Progress Monitoring tools to track student progress toward their annual goals and analyze the data collected to inform instructional decisions.
