Linking Data and Practice: Assessment and MTSS for Diverse Learners

This presentation highlights district-wide MTSS strategies improving equity, reading, and behavior outcomes, followed by authentic, data-rich assessments for DHH students, and the use of the CIBATA tool to strengthen Tier 1 supports. Participants will gain practical tools, insights, and strategies for implementing inclusive, data-driven practices across diverse educational settings. Participants will be able to: 1. Describe the benefits of authentic and evidence-based assessment for improving instruction and maximizing student literacy and behavioral outcomes. 2. Identify how you could implement these different authentic and evidence-based assessment practices with your students: What are potential barriers and how could you overcome them? 3. Apply these assessment intervention strategies to bridge your individual student needs and district-wide improvement efforts?
