Makerspace

The Technology Playground Makerspace provides an opportunity for attendees to have a hands-on experience with creating low-tech or no-tech tools that will enhance accessibility for students with disabilities. Using readily available materials, attendees will create simple projects that can be used to support students. Materials and directions will be provided and attendees will walk away with new tools to use in their educational setting. Presenter: Judith Schoonover, MEd, OTR/L, ATP, FAOTA is an occupational therapist and former elementary school teacher. She is certified as an assistive technology professional (ATP) by RESNA.
