Mind the Gaps: Auditing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for Meaningful Alignment

This session provides special educators and related service providers with an Individual Education Plans (IEP) auditing tool to identify and close gaps between present levels, goals, services, and accommodations. Through hands-on activities and case examples, participants will use student data to create more cohesive, collaborative, and effective IEPs.Participants will be able to: 1. Describe the purpose and interdependence of key IEP components. 2. Apply an IEP auditing tool to evaluate alignment across present levels, goals, services, and accommodations. 3. Understand the importance of collaboration to hollistically to improve student outcomes.
