Legislative changes have limited topics critical to high-quality teacher preparation. Teacher educators must now balance policy compliance with program integrity. Using the SAFE framework: Supportive environments, Adaptive curriculum, Foundational principles and Ethics, we provide strategies and best practices to sustain high-quality teacher preparation under these constraintsParticipants will be able to: 1. Apply the SAFE Framework to develop adaptive, ethical and supportive teacher education practices and curricula that comply with legislative mandates, while maintaining instructional quality and accessibility. 2. Implement practical strategies to create legally compliant yet engaging learning environments that promote critical thinking and student-centered pedagogy.
