Overcoming Barriers to Progress Monitoring with Free Resources

Progress monitoring (PM) is the repeated measurement of student performance to quantify responsiveness to instruction and determine adjustments. This presentation will provide an overview of PM's role in data-based individualization, highlighting free resources from the National Center on Intensive Intervention to support educators in creating and implementing effective PM plans.Participants will be able to: 1. Demonstrate understanding of the role of progress monitoring in the data-based individualization (DBI) process. 2. Describe the four steps of the progress monitoring process, with a focus on creating a PM plan and graphing and analyzing PM data. 3. Find and utilize of the National Center on Intensive Intervention's (NCII) free products related to progress monitoring
