Reframing Challenges: Strategies for Working with 2e Students

Wednesday 11 March 2026·3:30 pm

Using case study examples, strategies, and resources, we’ll discuss how to support twice-exceptional students in the classroom and how to better understand, and have a more successful relationship with them. And the best part? A learning environment that removes barriers to success for 2e students benefits ALL students. Participants will be able to: 1. Consider a different root cause of disruptive behaviors in the classroom and apply proactive tools to improve outcomes for a student facing challenges. 2. Implement different classroom norms, structures, and practices that help 2e students but also help the whole class (Universal Design for Learning). 3. Feel more confident in their abilities to successfully present classroom lessons for a diverse population of learning profiles.
