The State of the Special Education Profession 2025: Advancing Leadership Through General And Special Education Administrators' Perspectives

In this session key findings will be presented that highlight leaders’ perceptions of their abilities to implement instructional and behavioral practices, the IEP, and leadership systems and organizational strategies. Additionally, data will be shared about leaders' perspectives about family engagement, fostering a sense of belonging, mental health practices, and trauma-informed interventions. Recommendations will be made for policies and practices driven by the survey findings.
