Virtual Learning Community: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Addressing Challenging Behavior

In the ECHO virtual learning community, teachers and school mental health providers received brief instruction and engaged in case-based discussions to address specific challenging behavior in elementary school classrooms. This multidisciplinary approach helped professionals build knowledge and self-efficacy to support students with significant social, emotional, and behavioral needs.Participants will be able to: 1. Learn the anatomy of ECHO session. 2. Understand the importance of a multi-disciplinary approach to classroom behavior. 3. Take home resources they can use in their school districts to start their own ECHO.
