The Library’s Role in AI Literacy

Not sure how or if you should incorporate AI into a research assignment? Librarians at UofL can help! There are a variety of tools and methods for using AI for academic research that strike a balance between effective and ethical use. This presentation will share examples of how librarians have taught AI literacy in first-year composition and STEM disciplines. From using AI to generate keywords and search strategies to AI research tools for discovering and understanding research, librarians can create tailored workshops, materials, and assignments to help students navigate the complex landscape of academic research in the age of AI.
