This session explores how intentional classroom environments and daily routines can foster equity and a strong sense of belonging for multilingual learners in preschool and kindergarten. Participants will examine practical strategies such as multilingual labels and signage, inclusive classroom norms, and identity-affirming practices that honor children’s languages, cultures, and lived experiences.
