Engaged Faculty: Practicing With Our Faculty What We Preach To Our Faculty (Grades K-12)

Administrators dedicate energy to ensuring instructional engagement for students—this session flips the lens to explore how we can intentionally design an engaging workplace for teachers. We'll translate student-engagement principles (attentiveness, commitment, persistence, meaningfulness) into actionable leadership practices, examine leverage points within an administrator’s control, and surface strategies from research and practitioner texts (e.g., Educator Bandwidth) to increase faculty well-being and instructional capacity.
