Executive Functioning and Neurofeedback: The Dynamic Duo for Brain Power (Grades K-12)

Wednesday 10 June 2026·2:45 pm

Join us for an engaging, interactive session that explores the powerful connection between executive functioning skills, brain activity, and student success. We will examine how executive functioning impacts academic performance, motivation, behavior, and self-regulation, and how deficits in these skills can create barriers to learning. Participants will gain practical, evidence-based strategies—both in and out of school—to support the development of executive functioning skills. Building on this foundation, we will integrate the science of brain function through an introduction to Neurofeedback, a cutting-edge, non-invasive approach to training the brain for improved efficiency and regulation. Attendees will learn how brainwave patterns influence attention, emotional regulation, and performance, and how Neurofeedback can be used to support meaningful change. The session will include a live Neurofeedback training demonstration, followed by a review and discussion of the results, offering a real-time look at how this technology can enhance learning, behavior, and overall functioning.
