Parents Are Not Scary (Grades K-12)

Don't be afraid to send that email!  Borrowing ideas from public relations, psychology, and personal experiences as the parent of two children with learning differences, this session will focus on practical strategies to promote parent engagement, build rapport, and turn would-be adversaries into allies.  Learn how to "win" open house, deal with conflict, and partner with parents in a manner that is collaborative not confrontational.
