Before launching AI in classrooms, you need a policy or framework that guides innovation with intention. This session walks through how to establish clear, responsible policies that enable AI integration while protecting equity, data, and instruction. Based on Utah’s experience, attendees will explore real policy documents, identify critical components of a successful rollout plan, and understand how to balance innovation with safeguards. We’ll also cover tips for cross-department collaboration and how to get buy-in from legal, instructional, and tech teams.
