This session explores a powerful interdisciplinary project that bridges high school geometry, elementary math instruction, and inclusive technology. High school students begin by designing digital stories centered around real-world geometry problems. Using Desmos, they model and visualize the math concepts behind their stories. Each story includes diverse characters—one of whom uses assistive technology to help solve the challenge. Students then adapt their stories for specific K–5 grade levels, using Canva to illustrate, robotics tools (such as Sphero, Robowunderkind, or KaiBot) to bring the math to life, and WeVideo to create trailers and document the process. For upper elementary students, interactive Desmos components can be embedded to support visual thinking and exploration. The project culminates in student-led presentations to younger learners. Attendees will leave with a replicable model for authentic, cross-grade, tech-integrated, and inclusive math instruction.
