This session will focus on successful teaching and learning while reading continuous texts during Early and Mid Level Reading Recovery lessons. We will begin with a review of Marie Clay’s complex literacy processing theory. Then shift to video examples of successful teaching and learning interactions during familiar reading and the new book introduction and first reading.
