With more than 5,000 high-quality mini test items available for grades 3–8 and 10, teachers can quickly identify student strengths and learning gaps using items aligned directly to the Kansas State Standards. This session will guide participants through the full mini-test experience: how to locate, build, assign, and interpret these powerful assessment tools. Presenters will introduce brand-new "Build Your Own Mini Test" capabilities, giving teachers greater flexibility to target specific standards, skills, and instructional moments. Attendees will explore current reporting options, including item-level detail, domain-level summaries, student-level views, and classroom grouping. This session also invites participants to shape the future of formative assessment in Kansas; presenters will solicit feedback around the needs and priorities of educators.
