A Classroom for the Common Good

Through a variety of cooperative learning activities, this session will demonstrate how one classroom teacher uses the first week of school to establish a student generated tone of common respect and expectations. We will explore the benefits of group problem solving, its frustrations, and its successes as a way to anchor your school year for the benefit of all students and educators.
