Self-identifying what motivates an individual to be an educator who is a classroom leader, mentor, and strategist to energize children and young adults to take risks in their learning is hard work. Embracing the paradox of meeting the individual needs of each learner while building a cohesive classroom community for all takes a lifetime of reflection and practice. As learners ourselves, let’s explore through story how this educator has developed learning spaces that respect that autonomy of each individual while establishing a classroom of the common good.
