Growing Your Choral Program: Teaching Developing Choirs

This session will discuss strategies that address the issues that that developing choirs face such as: pitch matching skills in uncertain singers, choral tone development through meaningful vocalization (with handout and examples), strategies for teaching notational literacy. The presentation will also address successful lesson planning, appropriate repertoire for developing choirs, and long-term planning.
