MuseScore, a Free Open-Source Notation Program for Music

MuseScore is a mature, cross-platform program that can do most of the things that Finale, Sibelius, Dorico and other music notation programs can, and in some cases more. MuseScore is a free program with a database of 1.5 million scores, many of which can be easily arranged for small and large ensembles. Now that Finale is no longer available, it is a reasonable alternative. In this session, we will cover MuseScore operations and teaching applications.
