Orchestral Rehearsal Problem Solving: Identify, Breakdown, and Resolve Musical Problems

This session will present a method of musical problem solving in the orchestra rehearsal. Problems of comprehension, technical execution, and ensemble skills will be worked out through on-the-spot diagnosis and targeted exercises. Using examples from standard string orchestra literature, this session will provide ensemble directors with practical tools for leading more efficient and enjoyable rehearsals. Bring instruments!
