A-1: Building the Future of ECE: A New Path to Fair Pay and Professional Careers

This session shares insights from direct participation in a multi-state Action Research Partnership (ARP) Action Lab conducted in response to a request from the Minnesota Legislature to inform expectations associated with the Great Start Grant. The session is designed for stakeholders who have a vested interest in its outcomes. Drawing on first-hand experience, the session translates how structured systems-change processes were used to examine workforce compensation and career pathway alignment, and what this work reveals for policy, governance, and implementation efforts tied to legislative expectations and future legislative opportunities.
