Aboriginal Games

Participants will be introduced to as many traditional Aboriginal games as time permits. You will explore practical ways on how to use the games in the delivery of your Math outcomes covered in the Program of Studies for your grade level. This is an active session so come prepared to move, play, and explore Indigenous history through playing these games, at the same time gaining skills to diversify your math curriculum delivery. Session Objectives: 1. Teach First Nations, Métis, and Inuit culture and history through traditional Indigenous games 2. cross curricular connections to: math, social studies, and art 3. health and wellness
