Activating Joyful Allyship in Classrooms

In this session, we will look at recent changes to the Education Act around sexual orientation and gender identity, and examine current lived realities for 2SLGBTQ+ students in Alberta. The session takes a strengths-based approach to explore how educators can use their personal gifts in acts of joyful allyship, within the constraints of restrictive legislation.
