Introduction to Ukrainian

This session will introduce you to basic greetings in Ukrainian language. Your participation will guide some of the instruction. We will look at some common questions, pronunciation, and learn to say essential greetings and basic vocabulary. Resources and information will be provided but you need to prepared to participate in learning a new language. Please do not hesitate to bring questions/statements or words you want to know whether you work with recent Ukrainian immigrants or just want to learn more Ukrainian.Session Objectives:1. Learn basics to a Cyrillic alphabet2. Learn basic greetings in Ukrainian3. Promoting metalinguistic awareness and teaching students to build connections with prior knowledge.
