Learning With Lego

ALL students, in all subjects, can benefit from using LEGO to learn. Learn about some examples of how Lego is used for Math (multiplying/factoring algebra, fractions, prime& composite numbers and arrays, cartesian plane, shapes with symmetry, area & volume), Science (States of Matter), Biology (Blood typing, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, sliding muscle filament theory, diffusion, combining bases, forming genes, DNA double helix), Chemistry (law of conservation of mass, molecular structures, naming), Social Studies (historical re-enactments), English (mini-figure videos), sentence structure. Session Objectives: 1. Using Lego to support understanding in Math, Science, Social and English
