Research and Resources to Elevate Evidence-Based Literacy Instruction for Grades 4-5

In the session we will provide a research overview, including important shifts in the instructional approach for upper elementary students, as well as the areas of literacy that need particular and specific focus that differ from Grades K-3. As we outline aspects of research, we will refer to corresponding Literacy Essentials as well as highlight resources that are aligned, readily available, and no-cost.
