Actualizing Culturally Diverse Secondary Art Curriculum: Amending History Through Disruption

Presenters will share a high school art curriculum that introduces the concept of amending history through disruption represented in the works of culturally diverse contemporary artists. High school art teachers can better understand how to engage their own students in conceptual artmaking and consider different approaches to painting and nontraditional media.
