Cultivating Connection: Art as a Tool for Reflection, Collaboration, Leadership, and Community Building
Part of 2026 NAEA National Convention
Thursday 5 March 2026·9:00 pm
What does it look like when art becomes a bridge—connecting us to ourselves, to one another, and to the communities around us? Members of the School of Art Leaders come together to explore this question through stories of reflection, collaboration, mentorship, and shared practice. Their presentations will highlight how art can build confidence, strengthen communication, and create meaningful relationships across classrooms and communities, while inviting us all to consider the value of building community, encouraging leadership in others, and learning when to ask for and accept support
