Curating Archival Materials: The Mac Arthur Goodwin Papers

This presentation shares the process of curating Mac Arthur Goodwin’s archives. Goodwin was the first African American NAEA President. It explores collaboration with family and the art education community to preserve his legacy and offers strategies to safeguard underrepresented art educators’ histories that have shaped, yet remain absent from, the field.
