Diverse Art Education Histories: Creating New Narratives by Challenging the Colonial Legacy in the Caribbean

In this panel discussion, artist–educators will introduce you to Caribbean and Afro-Latin art education history, as well as artists that might have been overlooked in standard art curricula. Then, we will discuss strategies for developing a curriculum that supports the Caribbean and Afro-Latin community, students, and artists.
