From Collective Making to Lasting Impact: Celebrating Community-Based Art as Resistance

This session provides a 15-step framework for implementing inclusive community-based art while addressing conflicts around authorship, bias, and public voice. Using vivid imagery from large-scale murals created with public schools, universities, and community members, the presenter shares tools for sustaining socially engaged, justice-oriented, and collaborative public-facing art practices.
