Policy & Action in Difficult Times: Supporting Art Educators’ Diverse Perspectives in Contested Art Educational Contexts

Drawing on policy research as well as regional and national experiences, panelists will discuss recent policies and political issues that impact art education and art educators in today's society. The panelists will offer strategic policies for inclusive curricula, ethical pedagogies, and advocating for art education programs that address recent challenges to the field. Audience participation through questioning shared experiences and debate of ideas is welcomed.
